Our Story

Founded and established in 1980 as a small retail store on St. Catherine Street in Montreal, Canada, Indiport is presently one of the large rug stores in the city, with two large showrooms in Montreal.

Affordable prices, fine quality and excellent service are among some of the factors behind our success. We are by far one of the largest importers of handmade rugs and carry a diverse selection of rugs from countries including India, Pakistan, China and Iran. As the rugs are bought and selected personally, there is no middle man involved thus making our prices very competitive with savings passed directly to the consumer.

At Indiport you will find a beautiful array of fine hand-woven, hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs. Every rug in its multitude of collections is a masterwork of styling and textual magnificence, created from a wealth of inspiration past and present. We also feature some intricate transitional patterns designed to compliment the most up to date North American home furnishing palettes.
